Leca Da Palmeria

Leça da Palmeira has been my home in northern Portugal and a place I have photographed repeatedly over the years. The Atlantic, the lighthouse, the beaches, and the working port are all part of the same landscape.

Living here has allowed me to return to these places in changing weather, different seasons, and shifting light. These photographs are less about documenting Leça than about observing the character of a familiar place—the quiet moments, the industrial edges, and the constant presence of the sea.
